I really thought that acne was just a teenage thing.
Back then, I had been prescribed everything from meds like doxycycline to Accutane. But when I hit my 20s, my acne was just as bad, if not worse than when I was in high school.
Oh how wrong I was...
I can remember watching countless makeup tutorials, learning how to conceal the red, angry spots on my face.
Whilst this worked (temporarily), I knew it wasn't a permanent solution...
I was so angry! Frustrated,
Whilst this was a temporary measure to cover up my little angry red imperfections, I knew it was not a permanent solution...
I also felt very self-conscious if I did not leave my house without my makeup.
I really wanted to defeat acne permanently, to end it once and for all.
